Le "basi" per questo disco nascono nel 2008, quando la Universal commissiona a Anthony Phillips un disco di library music e, contemporaneamente, gli fa conoscere Andrew Skeet,
compositore con un importante curriculum, ricco di esperienze e
collaborazioni. L'intesa tra i due è immediata, cominciano a comporre
insieme ed anche a riarrangiare in chiave orchestrale alcuni vecchi
pezzi di Phillips... Il progetto si protrae nel tempo; tutto viene
curato attentamente e le registrazioni attraversano tre fasi ben
distinte.
